Steady Bike Effort Anchors a Consistent Endurance Performance Kelton posted a 3:41:56 finish, built on a 34:44 swim, a strong 1:31:15 bike split, and a 1:21:54 run. His bike leg stood out, averaging roughly 16 mph over the course, including a notably quick stretch around the 14-mile mark where he moved into the top 25 in his division for that segment. Transitions were efficient, with T1 in 5:41 and T2 in 5:23, keeping his overall flow tight between disciplines. The run settled into a steady rhythm near 13:15 per mile for most of the second half, holding pace well through the final miles without significant fade. Compared to his 2025 Spudman Olympic finish of 3:24:16, this years time was a bit slower, suggesting the bike-to-run transition efficiency and closing run pace are areas where he can look to sharpen for future races.
