Steady Bike Split Anchors a Consistent Olympic-Distance Finish Mitch Fultz completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 2:50:43, finishing 326th overall out of 1,987 and 33rd in the Elite Mens division. His swim came in at 27:23, followed by a strong bike leg of 1:22:43 covering roughly 24.4 miles at an average of about 17.7 mph. He closed with a 55:37 run, rounding out a well-balanced effort across all three disciplines. Transitions were efficient, with T1 at 3:20 and T2 at just 1:42. Compared to his 2025 Spudman finish of 2:49:46, Mitch's overall time was nearly identical, showing consistency in his performance year over year. Notably, his overall placement improved significantly, moving from 582nd to 326th, and his gender placement rose from 475th to 277th. Maintaining this level of consistency while looking for small gains in swim pacing could help him climb even further in future results.
