Powerful Bike Split Anchors a Steady Olympic Finish Jenna posted a 27:09 swim to exit the water in solid position, then used a brisk T1 to hit the bike course. Her cycling was the highlight of the day she surged to 9th in her division at one point, hammering sustained speeds near 18 mph on several mid-ride segments before settling into an overall bike average of about 16 mph across the 24.4-mile course. That strength carried her through a quick T2 transition in just 4:34. The run proved tougher to hold onto that momentum, with mile splits gradually easing from a 9:55 pace early to the 11:20s late in the race. Still, she crossed the line in 3:14:29, good for 774th overall and 19th in her 25-29 age group. The bike remains her clear strength this season building some closing speed on the run could help her convert that cycling power into an even stronger finish time next time out.
