Consistent Pacing Fuels a Division Podium Finish Stephanie Anderson turned in a well-rounded Olympic-distance performance, crossing the line in 3:01:08 and securing 3rd place in the 55-59 Solo Female division a position she held from the swim exit all the way to the finish. Her bike leg was a highlight, covering just over 24 miles at an average of roughly 17.1 mph, helping her move into the 300s overall by T2. The swim, aided by the Snake River's current, was completed in just over 22 minutes. The run proved steady if not spectacular, with mile splits settling into the 10:3011:20 range as fatigue set in over the final miles. Compared to her 2025 Spudman sprint outing, where she also landed on the podium (2nd in her division), this Olympic-distance result shows she's capable of sustaining strong multisport performances over greater distances. A touch more consistency in the closing run miles could help her climb even higher next time.
