Steady Pacing Fuels a Strong Sprint Finish Lindsay Grimm turned in a solid performance at the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon, finishing in 1:56:58 and placing 14th in her 40-49 age group. Her bike leg stood out, covering 12.45 miles at a brisk 14.84 mph pace, helping her move up through the field during that segment. She paired that with a consistent run split to close out the race with a well-balanced overall effort. Compared to her 2025 Spudman result, Lindsay improved her overall time by nearly 7 minutes, shaving time across the board and climbing from 290th to 216th overall. This continued improvement reflects strong consistency in her training. Looking ahead, refining transition timesparticularly T1could shave off a bit more, but overall this was a well-executed, improved performance from her previous outing at this race.
