Strong Bike Leg Drives a Solid Olympic-Distance Finish Karrina Anderson completed the Olympic-distance triathlon in 3:21:31, highlighted by a powerful bike leg. Covering the bike course in 1:33:39, she averaged roughly 15.6 mph, climbing from 246th to 186th among female finishers by the time she reached T2. Her transitions were efficient as well, with a swift 4:52 T1 and an even quicker 3:08 T2, both contributing to forward movement in the field. The run leg settled in at a steady rhythm, holding a consistent 12-minute-per-mile pace across most splits without significant fade over the final miles. She finished 195th among female athletes and 19th in her 19-24 division. With a well-executed bike segment as the clear strength of the day, focusing on building run speed off the bike could be a good target for continued growth in future races.
