Steady Pacing Highlighted by a Strong Bike Leg William Glauser completed the Olympic distance with a well-balanced effort across all three disciplines. His swim was efficient, moving him into solid position early, and he carried that momentum into a bike leg that stood out as the highlight of his dayhitting speeds up to roughly 17 mph during his fastest stretch and averaging close to 15.6 mph overall, a segment strong enough to move him into the top 300 overall at one point. The run settled into a consistent rhythm, holding paces in the 10:4711:23 per mile range across the final miles, showing solid endurance after a demanding bike effort. Transitions were quick and efficient, with T1 and T2 both under four and a half minutes. Overall, this was a race defined by a strong bike performance and steady execution in the swim and run, giving him a well-rounded finish in his age division.
