A Steady Push Through Every Leg At just 16 years old, Phebie Stark completed the Olympic-distance course in 4:39:33. She came out of the Snake River in 34:51, then settled into a 24.5-mile bike leg completed in 1:51:49 an average pace of about 13.1 mph. A 7:50 second transition led into a 1:52:27 run to close out the day. Her bike leg had a notable surge early on, climbing into the top 200 among female competitors during the second segment before settling into a steadier rhythm.
