Strong Bike Split Fuels Solid Sprint Finish Sam Ellison completed the Sprint Triathlon in 1:55:47, finishing 203rd overall out of 570 and 26th in the men's 20-29 division. His swim came in at 26:31, followed by a swift T1 of just 3:52. The bike leg stood out as a highlight, covering the course at roughly 15.3 mph and moving him up significantly in the standings, from 204th after the swim to 149th by the bike finish. T2 was efficient at 1:03, setting up a run split of 32:48. Sam's placement continued to climb during the run, ending at 113th in his gender category. Splits show a strong closing kick, with his final mile pace dropping under 10 minutes. This race reflects a well-rounded performance, with the bike segment as a clear strength.
