A Resilient Finish on a Tougher Day Rebecca Rasmussen completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 4:57:04, highlighted by a strong 29:16 swim that showed solid open-water fitness. She moved efficiently through T1 in 9:06 before tackling the bike and run portions of the course. Compared to her previous two Spudman finishes3:30:05 in 2022 and a personal best 3:19:37 in 2025this year's overall time reflects a notably longer day on the course, suggesting either pacing challenges or a tougher day physically. Looking ahead, Rebecca may benefit from analyzing her bike-to-run transition and effort distribution, since no separate bike split was recorded this year, making it hard to pinpoint where time was gained. Revisiting pacing strategy across the bike and run legs could help her return closer to her 2025 form. Her swim performance remains a clear strength to build around for future races.
