Strong Bike Surge Sets Up a Big Mid-Run Push Shaylee Jensen completed the Spudman Sprint Triathlon in 2:34:22, finishing 216th among 570 female athletes and 63rd in the 30-39 age division. She took advantage of the Snake River's downstream current for an efficient swim, then moved briskly through T1, already climbing several spots in the standings before even reaching the bike course. On the bike, Jensen held a steady average pace of roughly 10.7 mph, closing strong with a final segment near 14.5 mph heading into T2. The standout moment of her race came early in the run, where she surged to 101st overall and 49th among women a notable jump that showed sharp pacing instincts. Her overall run pace eased after that peak stretch, but this mid-run burst highlights real strength to build from in future races, especially through smoother pacing transitions after T2.
