Bike Surge Fuels a Steady Olympic-Distance Finish Jeff Boyle turned in a strong all-around performance at Spudman, highlighted by a bike leg that just kept getting faster. His pace climbed from roughly 14 mph early on to over 17.8 mph by the final third of the ride, showing excellent power development as the course wore on. The swim was smooth and efficient, setting up a clean transition into the bike. Transitions were sharp throughout, with a lightning-fast T2 that kept momentum rolling into the run. The run itself was remarkably even, holding tight to a consistent per-mile rhythm from start to finish with no significant fade late in the race. Overall, Jeff's day showed a well-paced effort with standout bike splits and dependable execution across every discipline.
