Bike Power Fuels a Top-20 Finish Stegan Garner delivered a strong all-around performance at the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon, finishing 19th overall out of 570 and 16th among men, while placing 5th in the competitive 20-29 age group. He came out of the Snake River swim in the middle of the pack, then used the bike leg to make his biggest moveclimbing from 79th to 25th overall by averaging roughly 19.2 mph over the 13.17-mile course, a clear strength in his race. T1 and T2 were efficient, keeping momentum from swim to bike and bike to run. On the run, Garner held his position in the top 20, crossing the line in 1:30:03. With such a strong bike split already in hand, sharpening swim speed could be the next area to explore to climb even higher in future results.
