Strong Swim Leg Sets the Tone for a Solid Sprint Finish Raechal Elton turned in a well-rounded sprint triathlon performance at the 2026 Spudman, highlighted by a swift swim split that moved her into the top third of the women's field early on. She carried that momentum onto the bike, holding a solid average speed of roughly 9.6 mph over the course, before settling into a steady run to close out the race in 2:28:48. Transitions were an area where Raechal could look to sharpen upher combined T1 and T2 times were on the longer side and cost her some positions in the standings. With her swim strength and consistent run pacing already in place, tightening up the transition times could be the key to unlocking a faster overall finish at her next sprint event.
