Consistent Performance with Strong Start and Finish Blake Staley completed the 2026 Twisted Fork Ultra 15K in a time of 1:21:15. His pacing strategy was solid with an average pace of 8:26 min/mile, placing him 14th in the male category and 8th in the M30-39 division out of 119 total participants. Notably, he began with a swift split at "Kimball Creek," covering 1.51 miles at a 6:43 min/mile pace. Blake maintained a strong position early on, coming in 6th in his gender and 1st in his division at the start. Blake's middle splits were paced strategically; however, the section to "Fire Escape Rd" posed a challenge, averaging 11:09 min/mile over 2.45 miles, possibly due to an elevation increase of over 600 feet. Nevertheless, he finished strong with a closing split pace of 6:54 min/mile over the final 2.41 miles. For future races, maintaining momentum through mid-sections will enhance overall performance further.
