Dominating the Division with Consistent Pacing Tejbir Dhaliwal clocked an impressive total time of 1:27:25 in the Half Marathon at the 2026 Santa Barbara Wine Country event. Showcasing remarkable consistency, he maintained an average pace of 6:40 min/mile over the 13.1 miles. Starting strong with a swift 6:05 min/mile in the first mile, he skillfully navigated varying split paces throughout the race, with the slowest split at 7:18 min/mile and the quickest at 6:05 min/mile. As a standout in his age group, Tejbir secured the top spot in the M15-19 division. Throughout the early stages of the race, he managed positions in the top 15 overall, finishing 19th out of 2,211 participants. Focusing on maintaining strength in the latter stages could tighten his performance even further. This result from San Francisco's Tejbir should provide a strong base for future races.
