Consistent Splits Lead to Victory Gabriel Ferreyra delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 Santa Barbara Wine Country Half Marathon. With a finishing time of 1:10:41 and an average pace of 5:23 min/mile, he secured the top spot overall. Starting strong with a consistent pace, Gabriel fluctuated minimally, maintaining a close range of 5:39 to 5:42 min/mile in the first half. Impressively, he managed to improve his pace significantly in the later stages, clocking some of his fastest splits at 5:00 and 4:53 min/mile in the 8th and 9th miles, respectively. His final mile was his fastest, completing it in just 4:46. Across all 13.1 miles, Gabriel dominated, claiming first place in his division and gender categories.
