Consistent Performance with Strong Finish The relay team "A Phung Time" completed the 2026 Santa Barbara Wine Country Half in an impressive 1:46:20, averaging an 8:07 min/mile pace over 13.1 miles. The team demonstrated consistency, maintaining competitive positions throughout the race, starting off with a strong 7:44 first mile, and retaining a top 15 overall finish against 309 participants. Notably, they secured a position of 10th within their gender category, emphasizing their skill in keeping pace with the competition. Analyzing each mile, the relay team showed endurance and strategic pacing, with key splits at the 5th and 9th miles clocking in at 8:06 and 7:48 respectively. A particularly strong finish was recorded, achieving a final mile split of 7:34. Although there were a few variations in pacing, particularly between miles 7 and 8, reducing fluctuation could benefit future performances. The team showcased commendable effort and impressive results on race day.
