Strong Finish and Consistent Performance RunMilesHigh Run Club delivered a noteworthy performance at the 2026 Santa Barbara Wine Country Half with a final time of 1:41:26, achieving an overall pace of 7:44 min/mile. They excelled, securing 6th place overall and placing 1st in the male category and division. Throughout the relay, they maintained strategic pacing, starting with a steady pace of 8:17 min/mile in the first mile and progressively accelerating towards a remarkable 6:12 min/mile by mile 13. Notable improvements were observed midway through, especially between miles 6 and 7, where the team's pace dropped significantly to 7:29 min/mile, allowing them to gain positions. Their ability to sustain and then increase speed towards the end shows strong endurance and tactical prowess. For future races, maintaining consistency in the middle splits could enhance overall performance further. Great job showing strength in the closing miles and strategic execution.
