Steady Improvement Throughout the Race The Cracker Jacks relay team maintained a commendable performance with a total time of 1:53:00 over the 13.1-mile course, resulting in an overall pace of 8:37 min/mile. Their strategic acceleration was evident, as they progressively improved their position from 50th overall at the first mile to 23rd overall by the end of the race. Impressively, by the 6th mile, the team reached a pace of 8:22 min/mile, demonstrating their capability to quicken their pace as the race progressed. Throughout the race, the team consistently climbed the ranks, particularly after the 6th mile, maintaining a top 10 position in the female category. Notably, they achieved the 5th position in their gender category by the end. Avoiding any significant slowdowns, their fastest mile split was 8:07 min/mile at mile 9, exemplifying their strong finish. They could focus on sustaining their pace towards the last mile to further enhance their finish times.
