The team maintained an overall pace of 7:49 min/mile, completing the 13.1-mile course in 1:42:25. Notably, they improved their pace consistently over the second half of the race. They achieved an overall place of 7th out of 309 participants and 5th within their gender category. The team's ability to progressively increase their speed is noteworthy, especially with strong splits in the final miles. From the 9th to the 11th mile, they accelerated their pace significantly to a consistent average of 7:18 min/mile.
