Steady Performance and Strong Finish Yan Ni demonstrated a commendable performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest, showing consistent pacing and finishing strong. Her overall race time was 1:40:38 with an average pace of 7:40 min/mile over the 13.1-mile half marathon distance. Impressively, she placed 66th among females and 12th in the F35-39 division, out of a total of 4421 participants. Analyzing her splits, Yan started with a moderate pace of 8:03 in the first mile, then quickly increased her speed, maintaining a steady pace mostly between 7:32 to 8:12 min/mile. Notably, her pace picked up significantly in the last two miles with times of 7:13 and 7:06, respectively. This late surge helped her improve her positioning towards the end. Theres room for increasing consistency in mid-race splits, especially between miles four and eight, which can enhance her overall performance. Keep up the great work, Yan!
