Consistent Performance with Steady Pacing Natalie Newton maintained a commendable pace throughout the 8K race, with her initial splits demonstrating a strong start. Her first mile was clocked at 6:52 minutes per mile, placing her 49th among her gender category. By the end of mile two, she maintained a similar split, although her placement shifted to 59th in her gender category. The slight seven-second drop in pace to 7:19 in mile three was noticeable, yet she succeeded in regaining momentum. Over the course, Natalie showcased consistency, completing the race with an average pace of 7:09 minutes per mile. She ended with a respectable finish time of 35:35, placing 76th in her gender category and 19th in her F30-34 division. Her performance shows room to sustain initial energy over the entire race, especially around the mid-mile splits where pace tends to fluctuate. Keep up the excellent pacing!
