Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Aurelien Mozipo showcased commendable pacing throughout the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon. Demonstrating consistent early splits with his first mile clocked at 7:18 min/mile and maintaining within the low 7:00s for the majority of the race, Aurelien displayed strong resilience. His ability to remain in the top ranks of his division speaks volumes, particularly his persistent 5th and 6th place standings in M55-59. Despite a brief slowdown at Mile 6, with an 8:02 min/mile split, Aurelien's finish was impressive; his fastest mile came at Mile 13 with a 6:44 min/mile split, closing his race in 1:36:20. His overall effort resulted in a respectable 232nd among males and 263rd overall out of 4421 participants. The performance highlights effective pacing from start to finish and reflects positively on the training regimen. Maintaining consistent effort and perhaps experimenting with even pacing could enhance future results.
