Consistent Pacing and Improved Positioning Mark the Race Samantha Rober showed impressive pacing and strategic racing at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest. Starting with a solid first-mile pace of 7:01, she improved her speed, notching a 6:43 split in the second mile. This strong effort allowed her to climb from 55th to 39th in gender placement through the third mile. Samantha's third and fourth-mile splits maintained consistency, clocking in at 6:57 and 6:58, respectively. Finishing the 8K with an overall time of 34:15 and an average pace of 6:53 min/mile, Samantha's performance highlighted her ability to maintain a steady pace while tactically gaining positions. As part of the Rose City Track Club, she placed 11th in her age division, and her finish put her in the top 12% of female participants. Continued focus on the front-end speed could boost her competitive edge in future races.
