Dynamic Pacing Highlights Strong Performance Carrie showed impressive race dynamics at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest. Starting with a pace of 13:10 min/mile for the first mile, she significantly increased her speed to 9:23 min/mile by mile 3. A notable split pace of 7:26 min/mile at mile 4 marked her fastest segment and demonstrated excellent potential in mid-race acceleration. Carrie maintained a steady pace around 9-10 min/mile, finishing the half marathon with an overall average pace of 10:00 min/mile. Throughout the race, Carrie's placement fluctuated, but she consistently held a solid position in her division, finishing 15th in the F55-59 category and contributing to Team TORCH. Her results reflect a strong ability to pace well in the early to mid-race, suggesting potential for improved consistency and endurance in the latter stages. Continuing to refine race pacing could lead to even better bracket finishes in future events.
