Consistent Performance with Strong Splits Katie Rominger competed in the 8K event during the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest presented by Toyota, showcasing remarkable consistency in her performance. Her splits highlight a steady pace throughout the race with her first mile at 6:04, which she then accelerated to a 5:52 pace in the second mile. Notably, she sustained a pace close to the 6-minute mark for the remainder of the race, evidencing her endurance and control. She crossed the finish line with an impressive time of 29:28, averaging a pace of 5:55 per mile over a distance of 4.97 miles. Among 5185 participants, Katie placed 5th in her division (F30-34) and finished as the 20th female overall.
