Consistent Performance with a Winning Division Finish Patrick Hunt ran an impressive race at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, maintaining a steady average pace of 5:29 min/mile and completing the race in 1:11:58. He secured a strong 6th place overall and 1st in the Male 20-24 division, among 4,421 participants. Notably, Patrick consistently improved his positioning, peaking at 4th place on the 12th mile, with his fastest split occurring during the 10th mile at 5:09 min/mile. His performance displayed strategic pacing, with Patrick maintaining sub-5:30 min/mile paces for most of the race. Despite a slight pace increase in the 8th mile to 6:25 min/mile, he quickly recovered with a return to his sub-5:30 min/mile pace. Continuing to build strength in the latter half of the race could reduce any pace fluctuations in future events for an even more competitive edge.
