Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Cameron demonstrated a consistent and controlled performance during the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, with an average pace of 10:11 min/mile. Notably, his pace showed an impressive improvement as the race progressed. The start was consistent, with his splits between miles 1 and 5 ranging from 10:02 to 10:10 min/mile. Cameron strategically improved his pace, significantly accelerating in the latter part of the race. Particularly interesting was Cameron's final three miles where he increased his speed, achieving a pace of 9:18, 10:03, and 9:00 min/mile, respectively, finishing the race in 2:13:35. This strong finish indicates effective pacing strategy and energy management. For future races, maintaining this positive trend of pace improvements could lead to further advancements.
