Strong Finisher with a Great Pacing Strategy Jeff Cushing from Portland, OR, executed a well-paced half marathon at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest. Starting strong with a 9:05 min/mile, he rapidly improved his pace by the second mile to 8:29 min/mile and maintained a consistent effort through mile 7. His impressive splits showcased a keen ability to adjust pace, notably hitting an outstanding 7:42 min/mile at mile 10. Throughout the 13.1 miles, Jeff demonstrated determination with a final time of 1:50:05 and an overall pace of 8:24 min/mile, finishing 895th out of 4421 participants in the event, and 701st among men.
