Impressive Pace with Strong Splits Dylan Ell maintained a consistent and impressive pace throughout the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon. Beginning with a swift 5:47 min/mile in the first mile, Dylan saw variable pacing, with standout splits including a swift 4:28 min/mile for the third mile and maintaining below a 6:00 min/mile pace for most parts of the race. Notably, the second mile was the only instance with a significant drop in split time to 7:19 min/mile. Dylan finished 19th overall out of 4421 participants, demonstrating substantial competitiveness in the M25-29 division, capturing the 6th position. Given the consistent effort with a final elapsed time of 1:16:40, focusing on stamina could enhance steadiness in the mid-race miles such as Mile 2 and Mile 8, where pace slightly dipped. Overall, this performance exhibits excellent racing capability on this course.
