Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Manasi Navare completed the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon with a time of 2:12:05, averaging a pace of 10:04 min/mile. Her performance saw an initial strong pace, maintaining sub-10:00 min/mile for the first five miles and hitting her fastest split pace of 9:22 min/mile at mile 10. Manasi's overall position was 2344 out of 4421 participants, placing 758th among females and 79th in the F40-44 division. Notable was the pacing strategy implemented in the second half of the race. Although there was a slowest split of 12:26 min/mile at mile 8, Manasi steadily regained her speed, ending strong with consecutive sub-10:00 min/mile paces for the final three miles. A focus on maintaining the pace in the middle section of the race could improve overall results. Being part of the Rock Creek Run Club, it would be beneficial to utilize club resources for pacing and endurance training.
