Steady Progress and Strong Finish Show Promise Colby Fischer finished the half marathon with a total time of 2:11:00 and an average pace of 10:00 per mile. The race began positively with a solid first mile at a 9:37 pace. Notably, Colby picked up speed after a slower second mile, clocking an impressive 3:58 pace for the third mile. Throughout the race, she had a consistent overall performance, finishing with her quickest splits in the final miles, including a notable 9:13 pace in the tenth mile. Colby finished 718th in her gender and 102nd in the F20-24 division out of a total 4421 participants. She placed well on her team, "Dad Bods." Maintaining consistency across the entirety of the half marathon highlights her stamina and endurance. There's a steady improvement around the mid-race section. A little more focus on pacing in the early to mid-sections could enhance her performance even more in future races.
