After a slower second mile at 12:17 min/mile, Ashley picked up her pace significantly, eventually bringing her split time down to 7:51 min/mile by mile 13, showcasing a strong finish. Her overall pace across the 13.1 miles averaged 8:37 min/mile, with her most impressive improvement happening between miles 2 and 3, where she decreased her pace by more than eight minutes.
