Consistent Pace with Strategic Finish at Shamrock Run Fest Sophie's performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest was marked by consistent pacing, finishing with a time of 2:29:37 over the 13.1-mile course. Her average pace was 11:25 min/mile. Impressively, while she faced fluctuations throughout the splits, her sprint across the final stretch was evident with a closing split time of 10:21 min/mile on mile 13, showcasing well-calibrated energy management over the course. Her initial miles were strong, notably improving her pace in mile 2 at 10:42 min/mile compared to mile 1's 11:11 min/mile. Sophie's resilience was visible in her ability to recover from a slower 6th mile, clocking in at 13:38 min/mile, by maintaining a tighter range in her pacing for the remainder of the race. Participating with Team TOTs and placing 276th in the F25-29 division, Sophie demonstrated a solid balance of endurance and strategy throughout the event.
