Pacing Masterclass: Strong Finish and Consistent Splits Elijah demonstrated exceptional pacing during the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest half marathon, finishing in 1:37:37 with an average pace of 7:27 min/mile. Notable splits include a 3:06 minute mile between the 2nd and 3rd miles and a swift 6:51 split in the 10th mile showcasing remarkable speed. The ability to maintain a pace between 7:27 and 7:39 from the 8th to the 13th mile exemplifies both consistency and endurance, contributing to an overall positive performance. Consistency was key, as shown by his gradual advancement in his division. Starting 46th in his age group, Elijah finished 77th out of 308 participants in the Male 30-34 category. Slight improvements could be targeted in the first few miles to optimize pacing. Overall, Elijahs performance demonstrated both strong pacing and consistent improvement throughout the race. Keep focusing on early split pacing for even better results in future races.
