Although there was a general slowdown from miles 4 to 8, reaching a peak pace of 13:22 at mile 8, Surya demonstrated resilience by regaining some speed with a 10:29 pace by mile 10. Ending with a total time of 2:28:43, Surya averaged an 11:21 min/mile pace over the 13.1-mile course. Within his age division (M40-44), he placed 218th out of an overall 4421 participants, suggesting competitive performance among peers.
