Consistent Effort with Strong Mid-Race Performance Spencer Griffith demonstrated a noteworthy performance during the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon. With an overall elapsed time of 2:09:44, Spencer maintained a consistent pace averaging 9:54 min/mile. Particularly impressive was his fourth split, where he achieved his fastest segment pace of 8:57 min/mile. Although he started strong with a first mile split of 9:18 min/mile, his pace fluctuated through the middle sections. Spencer's placement in the M50-54 division varied, reaching as high as 34th by mile 3, with some shifts in later splits, ending at 72nd. Although the overall placement was 2202nd out of 4421 participants, Spencer made noticeable recoveries during slower segments, demonstrating good adaptability. Future focus should be on maintaining earlier pace levels in later stages, as middle splits showed a dip, especially in the ninth mile, which posted a 12:41 min/mile.
