Strong Mid-Race Surge Highlights Performance Luis Rocha's performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest showcased an impressive blend of pacing and determination. Through the early miles, Luis maintained a consistent pace, beginning with a 9:07-minute mile. A brief slowdown occurred during mile two, but an exceptional third mile split at 7:08-minute mile demonstrated his potential for faster speeds, allowing him to climb the ranks to 955th overall by that point. Throughout the latter half of his half marathon, Luis managed to remain consistent with an average pace around the 9:17-minute mile range. Notably, his ability to adjust and improve after each mile reflects tactical pacing and strong endurance, keeping a competitive standing in his age division. Finishing with an overall time of 2:01:45, Luis placed 198th in the M35-39 division out of 4421 total participants.
