Consistent Performance With a Strong Finish David maintained a steady pace throughout the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, achieving an overall pace of 6:06 min/mile. His initial miles held a consistent average split time of around 6:02 min/mile. Notably, in the third mile, David climbed up to 10th place overall, demonstrating a significant push. Despite some fluctuations in placement, his position in the Male 25-29 division remained competitive throughout the event. The last few miles saw a notable increase in speed. Mile 11 and mile 12 splits were completed in an impressive 5:48 min/mile, while mile 13 had a strong finish at 5:41 min/mile. His finishing time was 1:20:06, placing him 8th in his division out of a highly competitive field of 4,421 runners. Continuing to work on maintaining high speeds in the middle miles could yield great improvements in future races. Great representation for the On Run Club!
