Consistent Pacing With a Strong Finish Savannah Hiebel demonstrated consistent pacing throughout the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon with a final time of 1:56:49. Her overall pacing hovered around 8:55 min/mile, showing her ability to maintain a steady rhythm, particularly in the first three miles with splits at a pace of 8:56 min/mile or better. Despite the mid-race fluctuations, she managed to conclude each segment strongly, especially accelerating to an impressive 8:18 min/mile pace for the final segment. While maintaining steady splits, she experienced some slowing at mile 8 with a 10:24 split. However, she effectively overcame this with faster subsequent miles. Her strong team engagement with "Every Wednesday!" possibly contributed positively to her performance. As a participant from North Plains, OR, her results placed her 354th among 4421 overall female participants and 78th in her age division. Working on consistency during mid-race segments could further enhance future performances.
