Consistent Start, Potential for Faster Finish Jon maintained a consistent pace through the first two miles, beginning with a 10:02 min/mile and slightly decelerating to 10:14 min/mile and then 10:26 min/mile. This strategy saw Jon rapidly improve his overall ranking from 1093 to 1055 before an unexpected setback in the third mile resulted in a split pace of 11:10 min/mile, affecting his overall performance. Despite this, his overall elapsed time of 32:46 in the 5K Run was commendable. Jon's placement was solid in the early stages, being 90th in his Male 35-39 division after the first mile. Although he faced some challenges in the final segment, placing 161st in his division, the early-mile strategy demonstrates his capability of maintaining a steady pace. Future focus could be given to sustaining pace through to the end, which would likely lead to better placement in his division and overall. Great team spirit participating with "Pandilla Hernandez"!
