Strong Finish with Endurance Recovery Eli Chin completed the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest half marathon with a time of 2:31:25, covering 13.1 miles at an average pace of 11:33 min/mile. Starting strongly, he maintained a consistent pace, sitting under 11:00 min/miles through the first four miles. His early splits were progressive, showcasing a slight negative split trend from mile 1 (11:09) to mile 4 (10:51), indicating solid energy management. In the latter part of the race, Eli experienced some slower splits, with a notable drop at mile 8 (17:25). However, this was immediately followed by a remarkable recovery, where the final miles showed improved pacing, including a standout split of 8:02 at mile 10. Overall, Eli secured 3191st place out of 4421 overall and ranked 418th in his division M25-29, demonstrating determination and the ability to finish stronger.
