Consistent Gains with a Strong Finish Vivian maintained consistent pacing during the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon. Starting with a 9:02 min/mile pace, she picked up speed by mile 2 with an 8:38 min/mile split. Notably, she maintained a steady pace between 8:40 and 8:54 min/mile from miles 3 to 7. A standout performance occurred in mile 12 where she ran her fastest mile at a 7:51 min/mile split, showcasing impressive stamina towards the end. Vivian's final time was 1:51:37, placing her 210th among females and 41st in the F25-29 division out of 56 participants. Her overall pace was 8:31 min/mile, and she placed 992nd out of 4421 runners. Analyzing the splits, a little more energy conservation in the early miles or a slightly faster transition to optimal pace could benefit future races.
