Consistent Pacing Lead to a Strong Finish Kyle showcased a solid performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon with an overall elapsed time of 1:59:12 and an average pace of 9:05 min/mile. Initially starting with a slightly slower pace of 9:42 min/mile for the first mile, Kyle increased his pace in subsequent miles, reaching a swift 8:22 min/mile during mile 10. Notably, he maintained splits under 9:00 min/mile in later segments, displaying strong endurance. Kyle demonstrated a strategic approach by improving his positioning in several categories throughout the race. His placement fluctuated, beginning at 1475 overall and improving to 1329 by mile 7. Despite dropping back slightly midway, he finished strong, securing the 1541st position overall among 4421 participants. Placing 237th in the M25-29 division, shows competitive strength. For future races, focusing on maintaining faster paces achieved in miles 10 through 13 could further enhance performance.
