Consistent Performance with Improved Pacing Jeff Gerwing demonstrated a consistent and improving performance during the 5K Run at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest. His overall elapsed time was 27:08, with an average pace of 8:45 min/mile. Jeff's division placement was commendable, finishing 7th in the M60-64 category. Starting with a pace of 8:59 min/mile in the first mile, Jeff progressively quickened his pace, reaching 8:38 min/mile by the third mile. Notably, each of Jeff's splits showed an improvement in pace: 8:59, 8:45, and finally 8:38 min/mile. This progressive pacing led to consistent positioning within his division, displaying endurance and effective race strategy. The strategic pacing adjustments are an area of strength.
