Strong Finish with Improving Pace Lynsey Nguyen, representing "Will Run For Beer" in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest, completed her half marathon with determination, finishing in a time of 2:28:24. This equates to an overall pace of 11:24 min/mile. Impressively, she managed to improve her pace in the final miles, clocking a 10:26 min/mile at mile 10, showcasing her resilience and ability to push through. Throughout the race, Lynsey demonstrated a notable increase in speed at mile 3 with a striking split pace of 4:03 min/mile, which stands out as her fastest interval. While her overall placement was 3130 out of 4421 participants, her ability to adjust and increase her tempo in later stages indicates room for targeted pace strategies in early splits.
