Consistent Finish with Strong Middle Miles Charli Isidro displayed an impressive performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, navigating through the course with notable consistency. Starting with an initial pace of 6:47 min/mile for the first mile, Charli showed resilience by recovering quickly from the dip in mile 2, which was completed at a 9:16 min/mile pace. The following miles saw significant improvement, especially mile 3 with a remarkable split pace of 2:56 min/mile, which effectively enhanced his mid-race performance. Throughout the race, Charli maintained a stable average pace of 7:14 min/mile, rounding off the event with an overall time of 1:34:46. By finishing the race as the 36th in his M25-29 division out of a highly competitive 4421 participants, Charli demonstrated strong pacing techniques. Continued focus on steady pacing in the latter stages could improve overall performance, but the ability to bounce back mid-race is commendable and worth building upon.
