Steady Mid-Race Surge and Final Sprint Shine During Shamrock Run Fest Larry Lara Hernandez maintained a steady pace throughout the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, showcasing consistent performance with an overall elapsed time of 1:51:07 and an average pace of 8:28 min/mile. Notably, after a strong start with an initial mile pace of 8:29 min/mile, his fastest split occurred between miles 9 and 10, clocking in at 7:38 min/mile. This demonstrates a well-executed strategy that involved conserving energy in earlier segments for a quicker pace later on. Larry consistently improved his overall position in the field, moving up from 644th place after the first mile to an impressive 113th place by the third mile, highlighting early race strong momentum. Although there was a decrease in speed during the 8th mile with a pace of 9:44 min/mile, overall consistency was maintained across his age division.
