Consistent Performance with Strong Finish Kasey Geller maintained a consistent pace throughout the Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon with splits primarily centered around 6:22 min/mile. This consistency allowed for steady pacing across the first half. The middle portion showed a brief slowdown with a 6:27 min/mile at mile 6 but quickly picked up at mile 9 with a noteworthy 5:55 min/mile. Kasey's final push offered impressive results with the last few miles dropping under 6 minutes. The final mile stood out with a remarkable 5:11 min/mile, culminating in a finish time of 1:20:03. Kasey secured 33rd overall and 7th in the M35-39 division. Maintaining control early and closing strong offers a great foundation for future performances. Keep focusing on that strong finish and consider strategies for maintaining pace through the mid-sections. Excellent work representing the Rose City Track Club!
